Flashcards on this page

This page includes a 12-card interactive flashcard deck. Here’s a taste:

  • twisted (adj.) — Rotated out of its normal shape by force — for example a twisted nose gear.
  • wrinkling (of the fuselage) — Damage in which the fuselage skin forms folds or creases — for example after a very hard landing.
  • torn (adj.) — Ripped — when the fuselage skin has been pulled apart.

Members study all 12 cards — flip, shuffle and star them, and review each one with spaced repetition on the Study dashboard, timed for just before it fades.

You’ve reached the Members’ part of this briefing. The first part is free — Members read everything: every article, grammar activity, narration and dictation, plus the complete archive and the full Study zone — vocabulary decks, the Grammar Check and writing tasks.
