UPS’ cargo loading answers

Here are the answers to last Friday’s video, enjoy!

Suggested ICAO level for video: 4+

1. Nearly 200ft long and nearly 20ft wide.
2. They help to load the plane fast.
3. About two tonnes of packages.
4. Teams of people load the containers simultaneously, and it takes only a couple of minutes to move a cargo container onto a plane and secure it.
5. Because the inside of a plane’s fuselage is curved and curved cargo containers allow UPS to use more of the space inside the plane.
