2013 Dubai Airshow “Best of” video for 18 November

The 2013 Dubai Airshow has reached its pace, as highlighted by the “best of” video for Day 2. It begins with the walk-by of a United Arab Emirates pipes and drums band, and provides a look inside the exhibit halls, along with the outdoor aircraft display area and flight presentations — including demonstrations by the A380 and A400M.

Turbulent approach

Here’s the text to the listening from yesterday. Enjoy!!

A flight with 33 people on board, was descending through 8,500 feet on approach to its final destination when it encountered turbulence and caused injuries to two flight attendants. They were still in the aisle preparing the aircraft for landing when the aircraft suddenly dropped about 2000 feet. One flight attendant received serious injuries, the other minor injuries.

The aircraft continued its destination and made a safe landing.
